President Goodluck Jonathan will perform the 2013 Christian pilgrimage to Israel as a member of the Niger State delegation, the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission, NCPC, has revealed.
The Executive Director of the NCPC, Mr. John Kennedy, who stated this during a courtesy call on Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu of Niger State in Minna, the state.
capital on Monday, explained that the president will use the opportunity of the pilgrimage to the holy land to offer prayers for the country.
He also informed the governor that the commission in a bid to address the moral decline among the youths in the country has introduced a new package known as the ‘family pilgrimage’, where families can travel at a reduced cost.
